Welcome to the Corp! Herein you will find the corporation’s Battle Manual. This will provide you with information on the rank structure and the organizational layout of the Corporation. This applies at 100% and until amended by the proper authorities. 7 days notice will be provided prior to any major changes.

SECTION – 01 – Rank Structure

TROOPER (TPR)

The troopers are “new guys”, the rookies of the corporation. They have limited responsibilities and privileges and their main goal is to make their mark. They want to show dedication and reliability so to show Command their will to become more involved within the Corp affairs but also that they can be trusted with more than Corp chat.

CORPORAL (CPL)

A corporal is a trooper that has been part of the Corp for a period greater than 2 weeks but has not yet been issued responsibilities or positions. They are the go-for guys and fill in the spots in Fleets and Ops. They are nonetheless considered full members of the corporation and are entitled the privilege to access the employees’ hangar.

SERGEANT (SGT)

Sergeants are the backbone and mainstay of the corporation. They are troopers or corporals who have been given specific duties or responsibilities. They could be assigned as assistants to officers in specific trades or be given command of small Ops or Fleets. They are being given access to officer hangars and also rights in regards to their specialties. Sergeants are also pilots who have dedicated themselves in a specific trade and are either specialists or on the verge of becoming so.

SERGEANT-MAJOR (SMJ)

The Sergeant-Majors are the senior NCO’s (non commissioned officers). They are chosen by the Commanding Officers among the ranks of sergeants. Those selected for this appointment will be given the same authority that their respective officers and will act as a beacon and a relay of information for the various pilots under their responsibility. Each major subsidiary of the corporation will have a sergeant-major. Needless to say that to attain to this position the member will have shown dedication, service and loyalty beyond the call of duty.

LIEUTENANT (LT)

The LT is the junior rank for officers. They are few and their tasks are secondary to their specialty. LT’s are mostly administrative officers who take care of basic diplomacy and recruitment. They can also assist the admiralty in trivial activities such as meetings and passing of information on a wide scale throughout the corporation.

CAPTAIN (CPT)

Captains are the “right hand” of the corporation. They are the Fleet and Ops commanders and they lead their pilots either on mining, salvage or reconnaissance operations. Captains and above are considered senior officers and are entitled full access to hangars and rights within the spectrum of their specialties.

COMMANDER (CMD)

Commanders are the highest rank before the admiralty which is head of the organization. Commanders are also XO’s in specific divisions and like Sergeant-Majors, one for each. They have complete access and are considered the heart of the corporation. They answer directly to the admiralty and are fully liable for their area of responsibility but also reap the fruit of their hard work to the fullest. The various commanding positions are the following:

The Corporation is divided in 3 main sub-divisions. Each of them has a Commander supervising activities and personnel.  Each Commander will have a Sergeant-Major assisting them in their work.

Mining and Industry Division (MID)

Combat and Reconnaissance Division (CRD)

Trades and Politics Division (TPD)

Being in command of a Division of the Corp is a great load of work and responsibilities but the rewards are also to the measure of the investment.

SECTION – 02 – FINANCES

This section explains the various jobs and pay rates for fleets and ops as well as the percentages owned by shareholders and the dividends for members and officers.

SHARES (1000)

Admiral – 200

Vice-Admiral – 200

MID XO – 100

CRD XO – 100

TPD XO – 100

MID SMJ – 50

CRD SMJ – 50

TPD SMJ – 50

Fleet Captains – 25 each (75 total)

This leaves 75 shares to be distributed as rewards by stacks of 15 to the best pilot serving in each Division. Until distributed, these shares will remain under the safeguard of the Admiral (CEO).

PAY, BOUNTIES and DIVIDENDS

Mining Ops: 50% goes to the Corp straight off the start. The rest will be distributed evenly between the members who have participated exception made of the shareholders. The Ore will either be refined or not and distributed as is or sold for Isks. Shareholders are not being paid on the job for they are given direct profit at the end of every fiscal period.

Industry and Research: Builders will be given 35% of the profit made on any item they have built for the corporation. The rest goes to Corp wallets to be eventually redistributed as dividends. Researchers will also receive 35% of the optimal sales value of anything they helped research for the corporation.

Combat Ops (DED, missions, Complexes): Combat Op equals salvage and salvage equals Isks. Similar to the Mining Op, the Salvage Op will see 40% sent directly to the corporation and the 60% remaining will be equally distributed through the participating pilots, excluding, once more, the shareholders.

Reconnaissance Ops: Recon pilots will receive a bounty in accordance to their findings. This bounty may vary depending on the type of recon and the type of asset or resource that is being investigated.

Trades and Politics: As most of these activities will be under direct supervision of the Admiralty or the XO’s (all by definition shareholders), no direct payment is planned out for them. In the eventuality that pilots would help in these matters they would be, as in the reconnaissance missions, rewarded in accordance with their work.

At the End of every Fiscal Period (approximately a month), the profits of the corporation will be divided like the shares on 1000 basis. The same per-thousand will apply so refer to the Shares paragraph.

Any activity that is not a Corp Op is yours. The regular Corp tax applies at all times but if you go mining on your own, you do not owe the corporation 50% of what you mine. Of course donations will be most appreciated (wink-wink).

SECTION – 03 – ROLES OF COMMAND

Admiral:

The Admiral is the Supreme Commander. He oversees every day-to-day operations and affairs. By definition he has the Veto on every vote or decision taken within the Corp but also in relations with is foreign affairs and various political activities.

Vice-Admiral:

Second in command and to none but the Admiral, the Vice-Admiral is acting CEO whenever the Admiral is not present or available. He has the same responsibilities than the Admiral but is more directly involved with the representative side of the corporation. He will often be a diplomat as much as a fleet or op commander and must be able to be fluent in every sector of the corporation. The Vice-Admiral is also the liaison between the men and the officers and between the officers and themselves.

MID XO:

Mining and Industry executive officer is a position most critical in the corporation. He is the right hand of the admiralty and directs mining operations, refining and reprocessing as well as distribution of goods for projects and workshops. He is also responsible for the well being and overall functionality of the POS owned by the corporation.

CRD XO:

Combat and reconnaissance is a vital branch and is no less important than his counterparts. The XO of this division has the responsibility of any combat operation but also the security of the Corporation’s installations. POS security as well as DED and missions are the CRD XO’s turf.

TPD XO:

The Trades and Politics XO is the head of the “social” side of the game. He is chief diplomat and is also in charge of selling the goods that the corporation produces. He must be in the knowledge of market activities and of the various selling points and hubs. It is a complicated job that requires dedication and knowledge both of the game and of people.

Sergeant-Majors:

Each XO beneficiates from the help of a Sergeant-Major, who assists him as they see fit. The SMJ is an important role for he especially helps in coordinating the pilots in accordance with the Division’s needs. SMJ’s are a direct relay between Command and the Captains and the troops.

Captains:

Each division will have a fleet captain at its disposal. He is the one who takes the fleet out for action. He is the one with knowledge of fleets and how they operate and leads the pilots to success. The Captain has the hands-on approach and must be someone with experience and talent to be entrusted directly with the lives or the assets of the corporation.

SECTION – 04 – CODE OF CONDUCT

At all times a friendly and polite approach will be best. Of course, no stealing or conspiring against the corporation will be tolerated and appropriate and swift actions will be taken if need be. No infantilism or marks of profound immaturity will be tolerated as well. We are all adults or at least pretend to be so let us behave as we should, in a civilized fashion. We have no time to pick-up where daddy left off, so don’t make us do schoolyard discipline, thank-you. J
